Commercial loans are available as either variable or fixed rates, whilst some do offer additional repayments and redraw they do not have the functionality that is often found in a home loan product.
One of the benefits of an Iden commercial mortgage is that they closely mirror traditional home loan products. Their long loan terms mean that you avoid having to ‘rollover’ the loan every 5 years, which typically involves new valuation and bank fees. As a ‘set and forget’ facility it couldn’t be easier. A longer loan term also means that the repayments may be lower than in a traditional commercial loan that may be designed to be repaid over 5 years.
